QUANTUM STOCHASTIC CONTROL: MODELS AND METHODS
Topic: All
5 juillet 2007, Salle L 213, à l'Ecole des Mines, Paris
14h00 : Dr. Ramon Van HANDEL, CalTech, USA.
A brief overview of the foundations of quantum probability, (controlled) quantum Markov models will be given, as well as the modelling of quantum optical systems with real-time feedback in this framework. It will then be discussed how some standard and not so standard stochastic control techniques can be adapted to this setting. Finally, an application to quantum state preparation will be discussed (joint work with Mazyar Mirrahimi).
